The three-term Republican governor skydived Monday for the first time, completing a tandem jump from about 8,000 feet above the suburbs between Austin and San Antonio. Oregon’s largest school district says it has reached a tentative agreement with its teachers union and its roughly 45,000 students will be back in class on Monday after more than three weeks.
