President Donald Trump on Thursday suggested he is open to getting rid of the nation's debt ceiling altogether.

The US Navy plans to transport damaged guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain from Singapore to Japan using a heavy-lift ship, a massive vessel used to transport unseaworthy ships across open ocean.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — Kid Rock has again criticized NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, while insulting white supremacists and teasing at some kind of political future.

Disney CEO Bob Iger announced Thursday that the company's upcoming Disney-branded streaming service will feature Marvel and Star Wars movies, and its app is set for launch in late 2019. 

Iger told a Bank of America-Merrill Lynch media conference in Los Angeles that the service will also feature four to five original films and four to five original TV series, produced exclusively for the app, as well an extensive library of Disney film and TV content, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson has survived the ferocity of Hurricane Irma, but his private island wasn't so lucky.

According to a Virgin Group representative — and now confirmed by Branson — Necker Island has been severely damaged by Irma.

In a blog post on Virgin's website published Thursday, Branson recounted the devastation the Category 5 hurricane has caused in the Caribbean.

ESPN analyst and former NBA head coach Jeff Van Gundy believes the 2017-18 season is already "over."

During an appearance on Sirius XM, Van Gundy said the Golden State Warriors are going to repeat as NBA champions and he doesn't think anyone is close.

If you're on the fence about seeing the film, go see it. The movie has a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. What occupation earns the biggest bucks in America?

According to LinkedIn's first State of Salary report, the answer is orthopedic surgeons.

To find the highest-paying occupations, LinkedIn analyzed data from two million members who submitted their total compensation, including bonuses and commissions.

Other physicians fared well on the list, too.
