Business students can't wait to work at Google, and their engineering and IT classmates couldn't agree more.

Universum, a global research and advisory firm, surveyed 149,226 undergraduates studying engineering or IT in the 12 countries with the world's largest GDPs — Germany, France, UK, Italy, Russia, US, China, Japan, Brazil, India, Canada, and South Korea.

Zapier

Back in March, a company called Zapier made headlines when it announced it would pay $10,000 in moving expenses for new employees to leave the expensive San Francisco Bay Area — the opposite of how it usually works.

Now, Zapier CEO Wade Foster tells Business Insider that interest in working for the company has never been higher, with a sustained 30% increase in applications since the creation of this so-called "delocation package."

During a press briefing on Thursday, White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders calmly defended President Donald Trump's attacks on MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski and levied a few of her own against the media.

Steve Ballmer, founder of Microsoft, infamously said that Apple's new invention was a waste of money.

In what doesn't look like a promising sign for its debut on the public markets, storage startup Tintri has lowered its opening price targets and reduced the number of shares it hopes to sell in its IPO.

It now plans to sell 8.5 million shares at a price range between $7 and $8 per share, according to updated forms filed with the SEC. That would raise about $64 million for the company at the mid-range price.

A fire broke out in Terminal 4 of John F. Kennedy International Airport on Thursday.

According to a spokesperson for JFK IAT, the company in charge of operations at Terminal 4, the grease fire broke out in the kitchen of the Panda Express restaurant around 3:30 p.m. 

The fire has been extinguished and no injuries have been reported, the Port Authority told Business Insider in an email.

Nike on Thursday reported fiscal-fourth-quarter profits and revenue that topped analysts' expectations, helped by strong sales growth outside the US. 

North America sales were flat year-over-year in the quarter ended May 31. They jumped 11% in China, and 21% in emerging markets. The sales improvement, notably in footwear and apparel, followed two years of sluggish growth.

Apple released on Thursday a public preview of macOS High Sierra, the latest updated to the Mac launching later this fall.

You probably won't notice many differences in High Sierra compared to the current version of macOS.

Most of the improvements are designed to speed things up. It also supports some virtual reality headsets, something Macs have been missing for years.

MSNBC anchor Greta Van Susteren announced in a tweet that she is leaving the network after just six months.

"I am out at MSNBC," she wrote.

Van Susteren's new show premiered in January, several months after she was taken off the air at Fox, where she had worked for over a decade, amid a difficult contract renegotiation.
