Brandon Adam Pendergrass of Iuka was in the Tishomingo County Jail when he threatened to inflict bodily harm on all five county supervisors as well as the Iuka municipal judge when he was released from custody. DANBURY, Conn. (AP) — Police say a man trying to run from federal immigration authorities near a Connecticut courthouse has been struck and injured by an unmarked police cruiser. Danbury police tell the News-Times that agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement were pursing the man on foot near Danbury Superior Court on Friday when the man was hit by a red Ford Taurus. BALTIMORE (AP) — A 7-year-old Baltimore girl is fighting for her life after being shot in the back amid a spray of gunfire. Acting Police Commissioner Gary Tuggle says the youngster remains in critical and unstable condition a day after she was shot while in the back seat of a Honda Accord.
