New Hampshire emphasizing need to stop for school buses
MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire officials are using education and enforcement to remind drivers to stop for school buses. Republican Gov. Chris Sununu, Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig and others on Tuesday are announcing "Operation Safe Stop" for drivers to stop in both directions. The targeted enforcement will be conducted in areas of the state where violations of the laws requiring drivers to stop for school buses are most prevalent. Officials are discussing the plan at Henry J. McLaughlin Middle School in Manchester.
