(AP) — The Latest on the Kentucky legislature's final day of session (all times local): 4 p.m. Kentucky lawmakers have grudgingly agreed to fund a high-speed internet project that has been plagued by delays and cost overruns. The project, dubbed Kentucky Wired, is supposed to build a network of more than 3,000 miles of fiber optic cables to bring broadband capability to all of Kentucky's 120 counties. CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Supreme Court has ordered a new sentencing for a man convicted of murder more than three decades ago. The Casper Star-Tribune reports 53-year-old Donald Clyde Davis was sentenced to life in prison that was to be followed by 20 to 50 years imprisonment for killing a man when he was 17. According to court documents, Davis stabbed a hitchhiker in northern Wyoming in 1982. Davis was paroled on the life sentence after serving 33 years. He was granted a new sentencing hearing... WAYNE, W.Va. (AP) — Police say a West Virginia man who wanted to scare someone he accused of taking a pressure washer has been charged with murder. The Wayne County Sheriff's Department had been investigating the death of 43-year-old Kenneth Edward Davis since February. Police say Davis took a pressure washer from 72-year-old Patrick Nelson Cyrus but later returned it, The Herald-Dispatch reports .
