CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The state Senate has again passed a bill that would ban therapy that attempts to change the sexual orientation or gender identity of minors. The bill, approved Thursday, is identical to one the Senate passed last year but that the House killed in January. AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas lawmakers have rebuked a state agency for botching millions of dollars in contracts. The Texas Health and Human Services Commission discovered earlier this month that staff members incorrectly scored five managed care contracts worth an estimated $600 million, The Austin American-Statesman reported . MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Missoula County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect in the March beating death of a 45-year-old woman. Susan Wood was found in the road unconscious with a serious head injury on March 3. She died on March 16 without regaining consciousness. Sheriff T.J. GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) _ Associated Banc-Corp (ASB) on Thursday reported first-quarter earnings of $69.5 million. The bank, based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, said it had earnings of 40 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 50 cents per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — Michigan officials have approved an energy company's request to build two natural-gas-fired turbines outside Detroit. NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Old-style, tall-masted sailing ships resembling vessels in a pirate movie eased up to the New Orleans riverfront Thursday as part of the city's 300th anniversary celebration. The billowing sails of one ship could be seen as it approached from a distance. (AP) — A package bomber convicted in a wave of terror across the South is scheduled to be executed in Alabama, nearly 30 years after authorities said he killed a federal judge with a bomb mailed to his home. GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) — Police in Goodyear say they're arrested a 20-year-old Phoenix man in a homicide case that appears to be drug related. They say Anthony Perry Michael Cornejo has been booked into jail on suspicion of first-degree murder. Police responded to reports of shots fired on April 10 and officers found 29-year-old Antoine Rogers of Goodyear dead at the scene. They arrested Cornejo on Thursday after serving a search warrant at his Phoenix address. It's unclear if he has a lawyer yet.
