PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Students at the University of Southern Maine who have been protesting racism on campus met with the college's president to talk about changes to hiring, training and class requirements. Cummings says five students presented a 10-point "list of demands" during a one-hour meeting that he called "extremely productive."
