LOS ANGELES (AP) — The U.S. attorney's office says a Southern California engineer who worked for a defense contractor has been sentenced to five years in prison for selling sensitive satellite information to an undercover FBI employee he thought was a Russian intelligence agent. WASHINGTON (AP) — The Latest on congressional health care legislation (all times local): 3:45 p.m. The Congressional Budget Office says it won't be able to provide crucial projections about the impact of the newest Republican bill aimed at scuttling President Barack Obama's health care law until after the Senate is expected to vote on it. WASHINGTON (AP) — The federal government has fined two groups it says illegally attempted to collect student loan debt and prohibited them from further action on recovering payments until audits on all its accounts are completed. DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Snapchat has blocked Al-Jazeera's Discover channel in Saudi Arabia amid an ongoing dispute between Gulf states and Qatar, where the media network is headquartered. Al-Jazeera said Snapchat's decision to block its curated Discover Channel is "deplorable", "alarming" and amounts to "censoring media content". The Arabic Snapchat channel was launched in May, a month before Saudi Arabia and three other Arab states cut ties with Qatar. The quartet accuse Qatar of using Al-Jazeera to promote its policies... BALTIMORE (AP) — Residents living within one mile (1.5 kilometers) of a chemical plant in Baltimore were told to stay indoors for about an hour and a half Monday after an acid spill caused a noxious cloud. Fire department spokesman Chief Roman Clark said the spill occurred about 10:45 a.m. at the Solvay Industries plant in South Baltimore when crews were transferring chlorosulfonic acid from a tanker to a trailer. KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — Classes are scheduled to resume Tuesday in northwestern Montana's Flathead Valley after more than 30 public and private schools canceled classes last week because several schools received cyber-threats. TORONTO (AP) — Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday his government could stop doing business with Boeing if the U.S. company doesn't drop a trade complaint against Canadian plane maker Bombardier. Trudeau said that Canada "won't do business with a company that's busy trying to sue us and put our aerospace workers out of business." INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — An Indiana nursing home management firm has sued former executives accused of embezzling more than $16 million from the company. The Indianapolis Star reports that American Senior Communities filed the lawsuit Friday against several individuals, including former CEO James Burkhart, and 16 shell companies. MEXICO CITY (AP) — Authorities in central Mexico say they are investigating the killing of a location scout working on the Netflix series "Narcos," which chronicles the violent world of drug trafficking. The Mexico State prosecutor's office says it believes Carlos Munoz Portal was working before he was found shot to death in a car in farm fields near the border of Hidalgo state on Sept. 11.
