WASHINGTON (AP) — Millions of people who buy individual health insurance policies and get no financial help from the Affordable Care Act are bracing for another year of double-digit premium increases, and their frustration is boiling over. Some are expecting premiums for 2018 to rival a mortgage payment. TOKYO (AP) — North Korea announced it detonated a thermonuclear device Sunday in its sixth and most powerful nuclear test to date. The North called the test a "perfect success" while its neighbors condemned the blast immediately. PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — Washington State had lost its season opener the past two years to members of the FCS Big Sky Conference, but the 24th-ranked Cougars weren't going to let it happen a third time. Luke Falk threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns, setting the school career touchdowns passing record, as Washington State beat Montana State 31-0 in the season opener for both teams on Saturday night. In honor of the Labor Day holiday, I am posting this story which is an excerpt from a larger work in progress about my father's family that spans the years 1860 - the present. Papa is my great grandfather who worked 12+ hour grueling days as a longshoreman on the NYC docks and died while trying to provide for his family.

As reported by TVLine, Tessa Ferrer will not return to the ABC drama this fall. This is the second time Ferrer has left the show. She originally departed after Season 10, when her character Leah Murphy was fired in the season finale. Days of Our Lives star Nadia Bjorlin welcomed a baby boy on Friday, according to social media posts. The baby is the second child for Bjorlin and her husband, Grant Turnbull, who have been married since 2015. They have another son, Torin Mathias, who is 16 months old.
