- Full lockdowns in France and Germany announced
- Government ministers admitting full UK lockdown in November is inevitable to avoid the NHS becoming overwhelmed.

All this talk about a 4 / 5 / 6 team play off, but realistically how much longer does this season have left to run?

Announcement from the club today regarding next years youth squads.

Firstly, the new Scholarship intake, looks a strong group, with a couple of real standouts...East Leeds 12 and Guisely rangers 3, and a good few very good players just behind them, maybe equal to them depending on opinion. Like i say, strong group

Nice article here about Roy Francis, who became the first black head coach of a British top-tier professional team when he took over at Hull in 1955, and he played a few times for Wires too:

Excellent piece on the BBC website about Roy Francis and his pioneering ways in British sport, especially during his time coaching at Hull and Leeds. It also highlights some shocking aspects of racism that were sadly commonplace back then. Paints the city of Hull in a good light as being very accepting at the times when racial tensions were brewing up elsewhere. Clearly he should have won more international caps and would have done if it wasn't for the colour of his skin. Also some great old photos

Friday night’s Betfred Super League fixture between Huddersfield Giants and Castleford Tigers has been cancelled after the Tigers this morning reported 12 positive Covid-19 tests.
