As the National Football League has been given a £10m grant to offset the loss of crowds surely now is the time that Rugby League will announce something similar instead of the £16m loan offered previously? Presumably the grant doesnt need paying back whereas a loan does?

Bought tickets for the last few world cups on the day they went on sale, was planning on doing the same for this one, but then I found out they won't sell tickets for specific seats until next year (when prices go up). Not keen on buying a ticket that will be allocated a seat later, as you don't even know what part of the ground you will end up in.

Many people in Wigan will find it very disappointing that the Council made little effort to support the Lenaghan consortium and help secure the future of the stadium for the people of Wigan as was the original intention in 1994 and not allow it to be owned by people who might only be interested in selling it on for a profit if the financial situation of the Latics further declines as a result of the pandemic situation.
