Fair play to Carter & Minnards for hosting the session tonight. Not the easiest thing to do with the team performing like it is but some context behind it - such as 10 players stood down today and the affect on being able to coach or train. I’m not sure Chester is the man for the job but added some reality of how hard it must be. Evening all,

With all the unavailability of players I’ve been suprised we haven’t heard anything on Greensmith.

In fact he is the only player out of the full squad that I don’t think has been in any 21 man squad or mentioned.

Is he even still with Wakefield trinity. Seems like the forgotten man.

An excellent new initiative from the club to support veterans. This is vitally important work as veterans are at a higher risk of mental health problems, and providing some support and guidance through these tough times is commendable. This is especially important given the news over recent months that many of the regional support hubs from major armed forces charities are having to close their doors, at least temporarily in the first instance.

Tue Apr 13, 2010 2:58 pm - RLFans gained a real Wakefield Trinity enthusiast. An individual who's passionate about anything and everything Rugby League, we've seen some entertaining posts from him during his time on here and I genuinely think the place is much brighter with him around.

PHE as it is now is a creation of the Conservatives following the 2010 Health and Social Care Act. It's previous incarnation the HPA was funded better and better able to respond to incidents as well a more capable in taking part in planning for incidents.

The 2010 Act drove a bulldozer through the health and social care system to create a byzantine system that is near unworkable, particularly under stresses like covid.

Anyone remember the Broncos team a few years back that we battered week in week out? Towards the back end of the season they started playing some good rugby and things were clicking but falling short come the end of the game. Eventually they came up against a form Leeds Rhinos side and whilst it was ugly they got the win 40-36.

I'm holding out on this happening for us, not many games left and it would be brilliant to sign off with a win.

I know they were officially on standby for this exact situation but I think Hull deserve a lot of credit for stepping up here and fulfilling the fixture when they're so poorly prepared for the greater good of the game.
