Each year, Antarctica gets a visit from clouds that shine a brilliant, electric blue. These clouds, called noctilucent clouds, light up the sky during the summer time for the South Pole. NASA recently released footage from its AIM spacecraft, which observed the first noctilucent clouds of the season on November 17.

The Federal Communications Commission sent separate letters to AT&T and Verizon on Thursday further expressing concerns over the carriers’ use of data cap exemptions, a practice more colloquially known as “zero-rating.”

The letter to AT&T comes as the latest part of a back-and-forth the Commission has had with the company over the past month.

SiriusXM Chairman Greg Maffei has recently reached out to the board of internet radio provider Pandora about a possible acquisition, according to a Bloomberg report.

Pandora's stock surged more than 16% on Friday following the report, which was based on anonymous sources.

Earlier on Friday, CNBC reported that Pandora was "open" to selling itself.

Paris (AFP) - A robber armed with a handgun was holding seven people in a Paris travel agency on Friday night, police sources told AFP.

The percentage of NHL players that are from Canada has fallen to 48.0%, its lowest percentage ever, according to data collected by QuantHockey.com. Meanwhile, the percentage of U.S.-born players in the NHL held steady at 24.6% for the second-straight year, the highest level ever.
