Forbes has released its annual list of the 10 most overpaid actors in Hollywood, and Johnny Depp tops the list for a second straight year. 

Depp returned $2.80 for each dollar he was paid, according to Forbes' calculation.

To come up with the list, Forbes looked at the last three significant releases the actor was in prior to June that played on at least 2,000 screens and then divided the operating income of the films by the star's estimated pay for those films. Читать дальше...

Donald Trump has picked Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) during his administration.

The Sierra Club, at 124 years old, is one of the most venerable environmental groups in the US. On Wednesday, the group released a statement calling Pruitt unfit to serve as EPA Administrator, and comparing the choice to "putting an arsonist in charge of fighting fires."

Amtrak

Amtrak announced in August that it will release high-speed trains in 2021 for its Acela Express service, but they won't actually cut down on trip times.

The trains will run on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor that services major cities like New York, Washington D.C., and Boston beginning in 2021. Amtrak will release a total of 28 high-speed trains by the beginning of 2022 as part of a $2.45 billion federal investment, which will be used to manufacture the trains, revitalize train stations, and make track improvements. Amazon Payments, the e-commerce company's payments service that competes with PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet, already owns a sizeable market share and may be its most "underappreciated" business, according to RBC Capital's managing director Mark Mahaney.

Chipotle co-CEO Steve Ells says the burrito chain's customer service is slipping. 

In a startling admission, Ells said Tuesday that the company internally rates half of its roughly 2,100 restaurants with a "C" grade for service.

He cited flaws like messy soda stations, dirty tables, and slow-moving lines.
