I recently came across a Pantene ad that went viral in June.

Besides highlighting the flawless and beautiful hair of the actresses, it features multiple situations where women unnecessarily say “sorry” — a verbal tic that, for many women, has become entrenched in everyday conversation.

Russia prevented the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday from thanking outgoing Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon specifically for promoting gay rights during his decade in office, diplomats said.

TONKAWA, Okla. (AP) — Police have arrested a 13-year-old girl suspected of plotting a mass shooting at her northern Oklahoma high school.

Acting on a tip, police in Tonkawa executed a search warrant Sunday at the girl's home and seized handguns and rifles, ammunition, and the girl's personal writings. Police Chief John Whitham said Wednesday that it's unclear how she got the weapons.
