Woman who cooks for homeless lands at commercial kitchen
KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — A Kenosha woman who had been warned by local health officials not to make meals for the homeless in her kitchen at home has a new place to continue her charity work. Arnetta Griffin had been cooking at home since May when a local homeless shelter shut down and she saw people going through trash cans looking for food. Gordy Peterson's bar Bourbon Legends is just two blocks from where Griffin serves the homeless. Peterson says he has a pretty big commercial kitchen so he invited Griffin to cook there.
