(AP) — Crews are drilling at the bottom of the Grand Canyon to test the idea of shifting the area where water is drawn to serve millions of people at the national park's popular South Rim. The park's water supply comes from a natural spring that flows through 12.5 miles (20 kilometers) of pipeline. FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The New York Jets have signed running back Thomas Rawls and linebacker Neville Hewitt. The Jets announced the moves Friday. In need of help at running back after starter Matt Forte retired, New York turned to Rawls, who spent three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, starting 17 games. (AP) — The Latest on the launch of 10 satellites for Iridium Communications (all times local): 9:25 a.m. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket has successfully launched 10 new satellites for Iridium Communications. The rocket blasted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, at 7:23 a.m. Friday and began deploying the satellites about an hour later. Walmart may be looking to dive deeper into the rapidly evolving health care market by acquiring the insurer Humana, according to The Wall Street Journal. The newspaper said that the retail giant is in early talks with Humana, a major provider of Medicare Advantage coverage for people age 65 and older.
