Judging Flower and his impact, will always be a hard one.

He's had 9 season, some of which have been great and some have been injury ravaged. There's obviously the 'incident" too which will forever be brought up when talking about him.

At the peak of his powers, I remember arguing he was in contention for being one of the top props in league. That period didn't seem to last that long however and the "incident" happened in 2014 - did he ever return to those heights after that?

I'd guess that any stock car alterations to the stadium would knock any ideas of SL even deeper into the realms of fantasy that they were already? I just don't think putting Odsal back how it was in the sixties is exactly Elstone and SL's view the future.
On a practical point where would the pits go? Will the Coral stand have to go? The track would be wide enough for speedway but not stocks, maybe can it be raised and then the cars could race under it, a bit like the tunnels in the Monaco Grand Prix..

Give me a Wigan Vs Saints or a European semi final at Anfield over any international fixture (I'm not even a LFC fan either). Hilton Park was fantastic in it's way but like Odsal, Belle Vue,.The Willows & Knowsley Road, Hilton Park was way past it's sell buy date. Modern stadia are important in several ways. I remember in the last few years Knowsley Road literally had walls falling down !

The LSV was an empty, soulless place but now it is a place where more often than not there is atmosphere, where the North Stand in particular can intimidate & I know that we *the North Stand* have bought tries & overruled others. Читать дальше...

I’m reserving judgement on Watson and waiting to see what he does with Hudds. Rumours are Ken Davies is willing to invest further in the team, he has a decent starting squad and a youth system to develop.

There’s no doubt he did very well with Salford last year, as previously mentioned they won 2 games to make the CC final. Time will tell, I think it is a good move and a step up for him. Next up will either be Wigan/St Helens/ Warrington/Leeds or a championship club.
