19 year old academy hooker has signed pro terms for us 2 year deal. Have to say I have never seen him play so can't comment too much. Has anyone seen him play, what's he like?

Appreciate he hasn’t been given much credit on here but I think his performances this season when he has played have made a difference, perhaps most notably when we beat Saints last time out.

I thought his experience and hard work really contributed to the strength of our forwards and I’m hoping he is available for selection in time for Friday.

Anybody know how bad his injury is?

Perhaps the best way to use the younger players would be to rotate them into matches.to get them experience instead of shipping them on. If the RFL had any sense that would be on their agenda probably by upping the size of benches & increasing the number of available substitutions. The future of the game will come from within & not from Downunder.

Unfortunately it’s a no brainer isn’t it. I like grass always have and we all know that Bellevue has by far one of the best grass pitches of all the grounds around. But grass has its limitations. How many games a year can the pitch take? Certainly not a 12 month a year week in week out program. So unless we want to stick to a trinity only stadium then 4g it has to be.

John Minards mentioned in his stadium statement, a “Fan Zone” to be created behind the new East Stand. Can someone explain to me what a Fan Zone is. I’ve looked it up and it’s defined as

Hi guys - how big is this guy?
And what sort of game does he play and can he play big minutes (too many play 20-30mins)?
What do you see as his strengths and weaknesses? (Unfortunately we don't seem to be able to coach out weaknesses so I hope he's not too many )
We need a big prop, not a converted second rower - which we've got a number of.
Realistically weve got Hill and Cooper as front ljne props witn Philbin in support, then we start to struggle.

I actually said on here right at the beginning of his tenure that I thought he was the right man for the job but we had such a distinctly average (being kind) season last year that I lost that conviction.

I think this year has been excellent. CC semi aside I think we've performed really well in trying circumstances building and improving as the season got to the business end.
