Did anyone else see tonight’s program on the you tube? Unfortunately, I had constant telephone interruptions, so I missed a fair chunk of the program. The four guests tonight made the show worth listening to, Michael as usual, made a number of interesting comments, he won’t be involved in the selection of the new promoted team, therefore he can’t be blamed, couldn’t comment on ground before tomorrow night, otherwise the club chairman would have ago at him, well worth listening to if anyone has a hour or so to spare. Haters are motivators. The view of a few Wakey and Fax rlfans who have enjoyed our demise shouldn't disguise us from the fact that SL has declined since our collapse. There aren't enough well supported clubs producing decent level players.

However, unless we are going to VP I don't see what the point would be making an application. Odsal has failed. Talks of a new ground are just that and the changes to the pitch at VP would be a fraction of the cost of a new stadium (which isn't going to be built). Читать дальше...

It didn't bode well when he limped ON to the field.

He was then basically anonymous in his stint and (as previously mentioned) that conincided with Huddersfield getting the upper hand.

Has to be the worst value signing (minutes/quality offered per £ spent) that we have ever made.

It's Rugby League equivalent of the Hokey Cokey as the Play Off series has been expanded to include not only the 5th but the 6th team as well and that as they say is what it's all about.

Whoops forgot we lost at home to Wigan. If we can't beat Hull then we wouldn't win in a GF so up to the lads and attitude.

Do I expect to win the SL title this year? No.

Can we win it? Yes but I think this team is a year away from maturing enough to be considered favourites.

So far I think the team has improved, the style of rugby has improved, the entertainment on display has improved and individual players have improved under Lam.

I think if you look at the team and rumoured signing and confirmed (Field & Bateman) he is building his squad with an aggressive tough pack and bags of pace and flair in the backs. Читать дальше...
