Arkansas could still end up going forward with its plans to execute 8 men in the next 11 days, even after judges blocked the plan several days ago.

Federal District Court Judge Kristine Baker ruled on Saturday to halt the state's plan to execute 6 inmates (the execution of two others had been stayed in other rulings).

The state had been trying to execute the men before the end of April to prevent a supply of lethal execution drug from going to waste.

Boston Marathon runners may have gotten some extra motivation from the New England Patriots on Monday.

During the marathon, one fan, presumably also a Patriots fan, stood on the side of the road holding a sign showing the score of Super Bowl 51, when the Atlanta Falcons led the Patriots 28-3.

Of course, the Patriots then promptly went on a historic comeback, scoring 31 unanswered points to win the game 34-28.

The billionaire business mogul Mark Cuban tweeted Monday that there was "no way" President Donald Trump's 2016 tax returns were under audit.

Trump "has to file taxes by tomorrow like all of us," Cuban said ahead of Tax Day on Tuesday. "No way he is under audit for this year. Where are his new tax returns?"

United Continental on Monday reported first-quarter earnings that topped forecasts, amid the backlash that followed a passenger's removal last week Sunday.

The company earned an adjusted $0.41 per share ($0.38 expected) on operating revenue of $8.42 billion ($8.38 billion forecast.)

New court documents reveal how Prince was able to keep his use of dangerous opioid painkillers hidden, leading up to his accidental overdose and death last year.

Unsealed documents show that "a sizable amount" of painkillers was found around Prince's Paisley Park compound outside of Minneapolis, and the artist did not have prescriptions for them, according to The New York Times. Amazon's stock price has soared 43.7% over the last year to more than $900, and several Wall Street analysts think it could go to $1,000.

The video streaming service insisted that the lower-than-expected Q1 subscriber growth in both domestic and international markets did not signal any change to its long-term growth expectations.
