A Wisconsin judge is set to hear arguments Thursday in a lawsuit challenging the state's 174-year-old abortion ban. The law was effectively voided for almost 50 years after the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion nationwide. When the high court struck down Roe v. Wade last year, it triggered Wisconsin's old abortion ban. The state attorney general filed a lawsuit in June arguing that a Wisconsin law from 1985 is actually the one that should govern the state. Iran has seized a Panama-flagged oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, the second such capture by Tehran in recent days. That's according to the U.S. Navy. The Mideast-based 5th Fleet identified the vessel taken as the Niovi. It said Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard seized the ship on Wednesday. A Utah law requiring adult websites verify the ages of their users has taken effect. Pornhub vowed to disable access to its website until the law is changed. A Southern California lawmaker who is running for a contested Congressional seat was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. Sacramento County jail records show Democratic state Sen. Dave Min was arrested Tuesday and released Wednesday morning.
