A judge has found a former Minneapolis police officer who held back bystanders while his colleagues restrained a dying George Floyd guilty of aiding and abetting manslaughter. Pfizer topped Wall Street expectations even as sales of its top-selling COVID-19 vaccine crumbled in the first quarter. The company reported Tuesday that revenue from its Comirnaty vaccine fell 77% to $3 billion in the first three months of the year. The drop was widely expected because the drugmaker is moving this year from supplying governments through big contracts to selling the vaccine on the commercial market. Police say an interstate highway in Illinois has reopened following a windstorm that kicked up blinding dust from fields and caused crashes that killed at least six people and injured dozens more. Illinois State Police say Interstate 55 reopened in both directions around 6 a.m. Tuesday in central Illinois. The crashes late Monday morning involved 40 to 60 cars, along with tractor-trailers. Two of the tractor-trailers caught fire. State police say those hurt in the crash range in age from 2 to 80 and have injuries from minor to life-threatening.

Authorities have discovered the bodies of seven people during a search for two missing teenagers and they were believed to include the girls and a convicted sex offender. The bodies were discovered Monday on a rural property near the town of Henryetta. Veterinarians are growing alarmed by an apparent rise in marijuana poisonings among dogs that ingest discarded joints and edibles on city sidewalks. Canines are eating unfinished joints while strolling with their owners, and more are showing up in animal emergency rooms. The poison control center of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says cases are rising. Last year, there was an 11% increase from the roughly 6,200 cases reported in 2021. A windstorm has kicked up clouds of dust in southern Illinois and caused numerous crashes on Interstate 55. At least six people have died. State Police Maj. Ryan Starrick says the crashes occurred late Monday morning. He says it involved 40 to 60 cars and multiple tractor-trailers. That includes two tractor-trailers that caught fire.
