CARTER LAKE, Iowa (AP) — The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska has opened its new casino on the Iowa-Nebraska border. (AP) — A federal lawsuit blames two companies for high amounts of toxic industrial chemicals that were found in drinking water of two southwestern Michigan communities over the summer. FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Police say a Texas man fired from his hurricane relief job fatally shot a co-worker at a bus station in Florida.
