HONOLULU (AP) — Authorities say an assistant band director in Hawaii sexually assaulted a student multiple times while at school and at his home. An Oahu grand jury on Thursday indicted 24-year-old James Maeda of multiple counts of sexual assault. According to court documents, the Kamehameha Schools teacher was arrested last week by Honolulu police after the girl's mother discovered sexually explicit text messages on the teen's phone. MESA, Ariz. - The last time Dustin Fowler was in a baseball game, it was a dream come true, his major-league debut with the New York Yankees. Less than 30 minutes later, Fowler was done for the season. TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Authorities hope images created from DNA evidence will help solve a murder that has stumped them for more than a quarter-century. Sarah Yarborough left home Dec. 14, 1991, to attend a dance competition at Federal Way High School. The body of the 16-year-old girl was later found near the school's tennis courts. The original description of the suspect was a 6-foot man with shoulder-length blonde hair. SANAA, Yemen (AP) — Two car bomb explosions killed at least six people and wounded 43 others including civilians on Saturday in Yemen's southern city of Aden, security officials and witnesses said, in an attack later claimed by the extremist Islamic State group. The explosions targeted the site of an anti-terrorism military camp with detention facilities for suspected militants, the officials said, adding that those killed included three civilians and three security personnel. They said that the casualties were taken to hospitals for treatment.

PERRY, Ohio (AP) — A northeast Ohio Sheriff's Office says a 62-year-old man fatally shot his sister and her daughter as the pair prepared to move out of his home and then killed himself. The bodies of Ralph Moore Jr., 59-year-old Vickie Thornhill and 19-year-old Arianna Cope were found around 8:30 a.m. Saturday by a Lake County sheriff's deputy in Perry Township, about 35 miles (56 kilometers) east of Cleveland. MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — A former chemist at Montana's state crime lab in Missoula is charged with taking meth left over after testing for suspected drugs in criminal cases. Court records say the chemist's brother-in-law told police the man confessed to using meth taken from the lab. LONDON (AP) — The International Committee of the Red Cross has joined the list of prominent charities that have uncovered sexual misconduct among its staff. ICRC Director-General Yves Daccord says 21 staff members have resigned or been fired since 2015 after violating policy by paying for sexual services. WARWICK, R.I. (AP) — Authorities are urging a driver who was involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured one man in Warwick to turn themselves into authorities. Police said Saturday that Eduardo Amaral of Warwick remains in the hospital in stable condition after he was hit Wednesday evening. Police say they believe the car was a grey-colored Acura RLX sedan. Police say the car has damage to the side-view mirror and front end. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact authorities.
