The school's Provost and Executive Vice President Lauren Robel posted a statement on Monday saying the fliers were found on office doors of "faculty members of color or scholars of race and ethnicity." (AP) — A judge has dismissed a criminal sex case against a former Alabama teacher after prosecutors said the alleged victim refused to cooperate. Tuscaloosa County Deputy District Attorney Kandice Pickett wrote in court papers recently that the woman has moved out of state, and has no intentions of cooperating with prosecutors.

Scranton City Council opposed the move by Democratic state Rep. Kevin Haggerty because the bridge being built in Biden's hometown is already named for a veteran. Republican state Sen. John Rafferty, who chairs the Senate Transportation Committee, says the committee typically names bridges only for fallen veterans or first responders.

Someone bid nearly $100,000 on eBay for a Cheeto that bears a resemblance to slain gorilla Harambe. The seller said he found the cheese snack in a bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Bidding began at $11.99 on Jan. 28. It ended early Tuesday morning with a winning bid of $99,900. The listing showed a picture of the Cheeto side-by-side with a gorilla climbing a tree. (AP) — Officials say an elementary school student in suburban Detroit has been suspended after threatening in a social media post to shoot a teacher. Grosse Pointe Public School System's Superintendent Gary Niehaus says the student admitted to making the post to the school's principal, who alerted the child's parents and Harper Woods police.

(AP) — Two students in Conway have been arrested over the past week for reportedly making threats against local schools on social media. On Saturday, police arrested an 18-year-old student at Conway High School on a felony terroristic threatening charge after he reportedly made posts on social media threatening violence against the school.

SolAmerica Energy officials say the project was built on 10 acres of farmland that Carter owns and leased to the company. The company estimates the project will provide more than half of the power needed in the southwest Georgia city of Plains.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — John Legend and Broadway star Cynthia Erivo will be singing a Beach Boys song at Sunday's Grammy Awards. Executive producer Ken Ehrlich announced Tuesday that Legend and Erivo will perform a new arrangement of "God Only Knows" during the show's In Memoriam segment. The veteran producer was listening to music at home when he suddenly heard the 50-year-old song in a new way.
