Many supporters said that he had to win either one of the two major trophies on offer this year given the squad but given the nature of our GF defeat coupled with Covid perhaps many of those were happy to see him get another shot at it.

People get too set/cosy/stagnate when they stay somewhere too long, often without realising it, this could be a good move for him.

I don't understand the 'loyalty' comment, why is it loyal to stay in a decently paid job if you're not actively seeking to go elsewhere or indeed have any offers to go elsewhere? That's staying somewhere a long time out of necessity or not wanting to move from your job not loyalty.

Hull F C didn't want Andy Last to leave the club and their fans are sorry to see him leave so their loss is our gain. Having seen Andy on Trinity TV he comes across as a great bloke and eager to get started. We never really replaced John Kear which left Chris Chester exposed so hopefully now along with Willie Poching we can make a fresh start and hopefully become more competitive for next season.
