I think we only played them once, but one game I remember was Southend away. A couple of hours on the sea front and then off to the game after a couple of bevvies. As I recall we won the game to round off a good one-off experience. Fulham away was also one to look forward to.

It was said about the football that clubs wouldn’t be obliged to give refunds/partial refunds as it’s an act of god. It will be a tough one to sort, hopefully it will only be a couple of months missed and the club could offer challenge cup and play off tickets for the season ticket holder who have missed out on games.

What's peoples thoughts on the season ticket situation should no more games take place or a reduced amount of games. Personally I would not want a refund for my season tickets. I paid last August for it so the money has well gone now. I would also happily continue and pay for next year this August. I have also recently set up an additional 2 lines on the lotto. Every little helps. The club will need its supporters to continue supporting during these tough months/year ahead.

What we should all hold onto in relation to concerns about the sports future is that too many people care passionately about the game and its impact on northern communities to allow it to disappear. There will always be a game though it could well look very different in the coming years. A Phoenix may have to rise from the ashes in certain RL towns but hopefully the game will come together and rebuild together. Didn't the Isle of Man close it borders as soon as it found one person with corona virus . Apparently, this number has gone up to five. I would think the IoM would be the ideal situation to find out how this bug is spread . It can't be travelling around the world exclusively by personal contact, surely to goodness.

As has been suggested there seems to be real number of head injuries caused by collision and clash of heads between team mates when tackling an opponent. None of these tackles appear to be above shoulder level.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be...

We've almost always been fortunate in the 30+ years I've watched in that we have usually had some great backs that can utilise the space if they get good early ball. When we've combined that with a good pack we've won things (or gone very close) and I still believe in the saying that "the forwards decide who wins, and the backs by how much"...

how do people perceive this now, you can win the league with a draw, but you can't win a cup competition normally with a draw. However, as golden point didn't exist per sé what else could the organisers do?

For me, GB beat Australia earlier in the competition and GB were there the better team and the rules were laid out prior to the competition.
