The university held a campus party with students and school staffers Tuesday for Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt. The Catholic nun became a celebrity last March for her fandom and for praying before each game for her Ramblers — and for their opponents. NEW YORK (AP) — Jon Stewart has helped make a home for two goats found roaming along the subway tracks in New York City. A train operator on Monday alerted headquarters about "two very baaaaad boys" along the N Line in Brooklyn. It wasn't clear where the goats came from. Police arrived on the scene, tranquilized the male goats, and took them to an animal shelter. The shelter contacted Farm Sanctuary. That's when Stewart stepped in to help. U.S. stocks moved higher Tuesday as investors welcomed solid results from homebuilders, retailers and other companies. Technology stocks also rose, rebounding from a slide a day earlier. Former New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz has retired. In making the announcement Tuesday, the 31-year-old Cruz says he plans to join ESPN as an NFL analyst. Cruz will contribute to variety of shows and make his ESPN debut Wednesday. Cruz was a seven-year veteran and a 2012 Pro Bowl selection. IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Investigators have recovered a body believed to be that of 20-year-old college student Mollie Tibbetts, who disappeared from her small hometown in central Iowa a month ago, police said Tuesday. WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration on Tuesday came out with new rules scaling back Obama-era constraints on coal-fired power plants, striking at one of the former administration's legacy programs to rein in climate-changing fossil-fuel emissions. ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — IndyCar driver Robert Wickens had titanium rods and screws placed in his spine to stabilize a fracture associated with a spinal cord injury suffered in a crash at Pocono Raceway. IndyCar says in a statement Tuesday the severity of the spinal cord injury was unknown. Wickens is expected to undergo more surgeries to treat fractures in his lower extremities and right forearm.
