On a Sunday that was too hot for leather, the chaps were out in force anyway, as the San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration made its 48th annual march up Market Street. Organizers expected about 50,000 marchers, along with 100,000 onlookers, making Pride the largest event in California, according to Digital Third Coast, which ranks events in every state according to crowd size. NEW YORK (AP) — Police have made arrests in connection with last week's killing of a 15-year-old boy at a Bronx bodega. The NYPD released a statement on Sunday saying that they're in the process of interviewing suspects. Police say initial arrests have been made and that more are anticipated. Police say a group of people attacked Lesandro Guzman-Ortiz Tuesday night. He died after getting slashed in the neck with a machete.

Bubba Watson says TPC River Highlands feels like home. It certainly was a comfortable place this weekend. Watson overcame a six-stroke deficit Sunday to win his third Travelers Championship title, shooting a 7-under-par 63 for a three-stroke victory in Cromwell, Conn.
