One day after a flurry of Boston power-play goals doomed them, Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks tightened up and turned the tables on the Bruins. BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) — Colombian voters turned to right-wing parties critical of the country's peace deal with the main leftist rebels and knocked the current president's party down in congressional elections, raising questions about the future of the accord. Trump is scheduled to arrive Tuesday as part of a fundraising effort. Last week the Justice Department sued to block state laws designed to protect people living in the U.S. illegally. SANFORD, Fla. (AP) — Nick Gordon, the ex-partner of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has been arrested. The Orlando Sentinel reports the Seminole County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to calls about a possible domestic disturbance around 1 a.m. Saturday. An arrest report says his live-in girlfriend told deputies she'd picked up Gordon from a Sanford bar and that he began to strike her on the right side of her cheek area several times. ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York wildlife researchers are taking a new approach to gathering citizen input to guide deer management objectives. The Department of Environmental Conservation and researchers at Cornell University have developed a survey asking people about deer-related interests and concerns. The survey also asks how they would like to see the deer population in their area change over the next few years. The survey is currently being mailed to people in a third of the state. NEW YORK — A helicopter crashed Sunday night into New York City’s East River and flipped upside down, killing two of the six people aboard and leaving three others in critical condition, officials said. A 74-year-old man’s flight in an ultralight aircraft ended with him being taken by helicopter to the hospital after the aircraft crashed Sunday evening in a field off Highway 1 in Valley Ford. A San Francisco fertility clinic acknowledged Sunday that it suffered a liquid nitrogen failure in a storage tank that may have damaged thousands of frozen eggs and embryos and the hopes of people hoping to have children.
