NEW YORK (AP) — Jon Favreau will write and executive produce a live-action "Star Wars" series for the Walt Disney Co.'s planned streaming platform. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy says in a Thursday announcement that Favreau will oversee the new spinoff series. JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a New Jersey teacher is accused of inappropriately touching several students. Hudson County prosecutors say Sean Lora is charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact, sexual assault and child endangerment. It wasn't known Thursday if he's been suspended from his job or if he's retained an attorney. The 42-year-old Bayonne man teaches at a Jersey City middle school. LONDON (AP) — London commuters have testified that they were left with singed hair and burns after a fireball tore through a subway carriage last year. Teenage Iraqi asylum-seeker Ahmed Hassan is accused of planting a bomb on the London Underground train on Sept. 15. It partially detonated, injuring 30 people. DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — A 10-year-old girl was shot and wounded while she was asleep in her bed outside Atlanta. DeKalb County police Lt. Lonzy Robertson tells The Atlanta Journal-Constriction the shooter fired several rounds into an apartment building Wednesday night before fleeing the scene.
