MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — A white supremacist authorities say illegally bought a gun he planned to use in an attack similar to the South Carolina church shootings has pleaded guilty. Media outlets report 30-year-old Benjamin McDowell pleaded guilty Monday to being a felon in possession of a weapon. He faces up to 10 years in prison. CAIRO (AP) — Egypt's military says two officers have been killed and two others wounded in fighting a part of a massive security operation against Islamic State group militants in the restive northern Sinai Peninsula and other areas. Barry Crimmins, the Boston-based comedian and political activist who was the subject of Bobcat Goldthwait’s 2015 documentary “Call Me Lucky,” has died at age 64 just weeks after disclosing a cancer diagnosis. MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (AP) _ Kohl's Corp. (KSS) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $468 million. On a per-share basis, the Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based company said it had net income of $2.81. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, came to $1.87 per share. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.77 per share. FRANKLINVILLE, N.J. (AP) — A school shooting threat that was emailed to a New Jersey teacher has led two school districts to close for the day. Franklin Township School District and Delsea Regional School District are closed Thursday. Franklin Township Police Lt. Matt Decesari tells WPVI-TV the teacher received an email from an unknown sender saying there would be a shooting at one of the district's schools in Gloucester County. QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (AP) — A federal inspection has found problems at New York's Warren County Airport — including rescue and firefighting equipment that airport workers don't know how to use. The real estate investment trust, based in Los Angeles, said it had funds from operations of $95.1 million, or 16 cents per share, in the period.
