BOSTON (AP) — A 7-year-old boy who was injured after being hit by a stray bullet last month has been honored by Boston police. WBZ-TV reports (http://cbsloc.al/1K58j4Y ) that Divan Silva, of Brockton, was made an honorary junior police officer Sunday at a ceremony held at a Dorchester restaurant.

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (AP) — A sheriff in southern Ohio says a body found over the weekend is that of one of three missing women from Chillicothe. Authorities have said the women appeared to have run in circles where drug and criminal activity was prevalent.

Authorities are trying to determine the cause of death of an attendee at an electronic dance music festival in Las Vegas. The three-day event ending early Monday morning features a lengthy lineup of DJs performing on elaborate stages amid a carnival-like setting of rides, pyrotechnic displays and art installations.

(AP) — Authorities say a Southern California high school track and field coach was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography after authorities got a tip about an iPad he left in a returned rental vehicle. Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock says an informant at a car rental business found an iPad that contained photos of naked females ages 11 to 13 as well as several photos of minor females wearing Trabuco Hills uniforms.

MALDEN, Mass. (AP) — The state Board of Elementary and Secondary Education is meeting this week to discuss two of the state's struggling school systems. The board is scheduled to meet at its Malden headquarters on Tuesday. WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Poland's LOT airline has been forced to cancel around 10 foreign and domestic flights after hackers attacked its computers. Airline spokesman Adrian Kubicki said the hacker attack temporarily paralyzed LOT's computers at Warsaw's Frederic Chopin airport on Sunday, disrupting the processing of passengers for the flights. (AP) — Arizona detectives holding a free trash collection event got more than just garbage. Authorities say they saw the same vehicle five days earlier at the home of 20-year-old Trenton Drake White, who is suspected of illegal dumping.

The funding is part of $52 million being awarded by the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, which named Dartmouth one of three National Centers of Excellence to study health care delivery and patient outcomes. BALTIMORE (AP) — Roughly 16,000 high school students have been affected by a printing error on this month's SAT exams. College Board officials say the misprint erroneously gave students additional time to answer some questions on the standardized test.
