CLEVELAND (AP) — Ohio's attorney general says he's encouraged by the start of talks to pursue a settlement with pharmaceutical companies and distributors facing more than 250 federal lawsuits over the nation's opioid epidemic. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A federal appeals court on Wednesday rejected a lawsuit that sought to hold Twitter liable for the deaths of two U.S. contractors in Jordan three years ago in an attack for which the Islamic State group claimed responsibility. CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — An American Airlines flight has returned to a North Carolina airport about an hour after takeoff because of an odor in the cabin. American spokeswoman Katie Cody said Flight 1965 from Charlotte Douglas International Airport was heading to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on Wednesday when it turned around and returned to Charlotte.
