With Hallas hobbling round in a protective boot last night and George banned we are light in the no 9 as well.
I dont know what hulls hooking depth is like as i believe Houghton is injured at the min.

Not sure if anything similar has been suggested elsewhere (I don’t use other social media), but I’ve been thinking about how great the Bradford fans were on Sunday, and how much of a kind gesture it was from the Bulls to give up their share of the gate, particularly when they’re hardly flush with cash as a club.

I in recent times have had to engage on a couple of occasions with the bona fide Nestegg team, and they asked that I post the following fair and reasonable (and AUP compliant) statement on their behalf:

I think Harold has stumbled across a new income stream for the club. In addition to home and away kits the club could introduce summer and winter variants...for balmy Batley there could be singlets sunhats and cheeky shorts and for blizzards in Barrow the players could utilise balaclavas fleeces and longjohns. Imagine the delight on a young lads face when they get a pair of long woolly stockings in their Christmas stocking!

I'm pleased for JJB, and glad he's staying within the club.

However, I'm massively underwhelmed by this as assistant coach, in fact by the coaching setup. In a salary cap world, you can improve the output of your squad by having a good coaching group, to get the extra 10% from the players. This seems like it's going the other direction

The reason that Nrl clubs take their games away is because those towns offer financial incentives. If English clubs were forward thinking they might see that these opportunities could be out there.

I think Rimmer is right in needing a solution for the benefit of the rugby league community as a whole, because of course long-time Bradford fan, and now owner, Nigel Wood, helped saddle the sport with the millstone in order to help "his" club.

Now that the sport is saddled with it, it is only right that the sport does what it can to get rid of the millstone. If that benefits the Bulls, I've no issue. They are a bona fide top flight club.
