The difference is, if Halifax or Bradford got into Super League, it wouldn’t make mainstream media. Nobody outside of the same old would care, even many in RL circles wouldn’t bat an eye lid. Gate tickets earn nothing. If you think your club survives on tickets you’re deluded. It’s sponsors, screen time, corporate support and wealthy providers.

It might not have been Hulls first team but there were one or two names with plenty of Super League experience and of the starting 13 12 are registered in their 1st team squad with another 5 on the bench. All in all it was a very good performance which we can take into our next pre season game. Also a promising start for our close season signings with a debut try for Paul Brearley who took the Hitman award with one of the old brigade Scott Murrell taking the MOM.

I was fortunate enough to see DT play and have heard many tales about his leadership style, most of them no doubt true.
He was a hard man who would not tolerate failure, and although I see nothing wrong with that attitude, how you put it across to the players is what matters. No, you don't want them pinned up against the wall in the dressing room, but I personally would like to see more verbal action on field. Mistakes which have lead to a try being scored need sorting on the pitch not in a

There must be many areas where a professional coach's opinion is vastly different to that of the supporter. Over Christmas I was chatting to my Dad who was fortunate enough to have watched the team from the late 1930`s and particularly enjoyed the 1960`s. Derek Turners name always comes up in these conversations, unfortunately I never saw DT play, but everyone who did, along with saying what a great player he was, also to a man, tell you that he was the greatest captain the club have ever had. The RFL have announced that they will be showing a couple of months worth of championship games on a Sunday eve via the Our League app

I think this is a great idea, Sunday eve is a perfect time for me
I’m already an our league app member and have watched some games via it already

What they don’t make clear is, is this something we will need to pay for or is it free?

I'm also in agreement in general for the game to get visability. My point is partly around consistency - within 15 minutes I saw the same fixture advised at 3pm Monday (Bulls site), 7:30 Wednesday and 7:30 Monday (both on OurLeague and still are). Does make planning around public holidays and work commitments very challenging.

The problem with RL and these kind of things is always about timing and organisation. And yet the sport never seems to learn, or at least it doesn't in this country.

Had this been decided before the fixtures were announced, so that when they were, the kick off times were there for all to see, then I don't think many people could have much of an argument. Any free TV exposure is good, even if it's streaming, and people know what they're getting when the times and dates are announced.

There are 20 Championship and League One games lined up to be shown during the period up to the end of May 2020.

I believe Trump will give Iran what they want by his action, which is the expulsion of foreign troops (except Russia) from many countries in the region. He did it with the Kurds who are now supported by Russia with them taking over the former US army facilities.
