PHILADELPHIA — A Southwest Airlines jet from LaGuardia made an emergency landing at Philadelphia’s airport Tuesday with part of the covering from its left engine ripped off and a damaged window. The plane landed at Philadelphia International Airport at 11:20 a.m. after the crew reported damage to one of the aircraft’s engines, fuselage and at least one window, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in statement. RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — A state appeals court is ordering North Carolina's flagship public university to turn over the names of students found responsible for rape or sexual assault in non-criminal, campus disciplinary proceedings. STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) — The attorney for a Connecticut man charged with killing his girlfriend is trying to get his confession to police thrown out because his client can't remember talking to detectives.
