AMMAN — The women’s movement in Jordan will organise a march on May 3 to demand more equality for women in all fields on the occasion of International Labour Day.

Akamai Technologies Inc. shares rose more than 4% in after-hours trading Monday following an earnings report that showed better-than-expected financial performance. The software company reported net income of $54 million, or 31 cents a share, on sales of $669 million, up from $600 million a year ago.
