Oscars Nab Nearly 33 Million Total Viewers
The good news is that the year’s biggest non-sports TV special avoided its all-time low of 32 million by about 900,000 overall audience members.
What’s not good is that the 89th Academy Awards fell 12.5 percent year over year in the important 18-49 broadcast demographic, posting a 9.1 rating versus 2016’s 10.4.
