Two killed in Highway 1 crash in Pacifica
Two people died early Friday in a crash on Highway 1 in Pacifica, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near the Paloma Avenue on-ramp. The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
CHP officer Eric Anderson said northbound lanes on Highway 1 were closed while the scene was examined. The lanes reopened shortly after 7 a.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Anderson said.
