Refugees continue making perilous sea journey
The United Nations says more than 800,000 refugees have made the perilous journey across the Mediterranean to Europe this year, many arriving via the Greek island of Lesbos.
Poor sanitation facilities on the Aegean island, where many people are forced to sleep outdoors, also need to be improved.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel says that the influx of refugees and the Syrian civil war will play a major role in talks at the Group of 20 summit starting Sunday.
