MILWAUKEE — Miller Park security officials were spending part of Thursday afternoon getting to the bottom of why a man wearing no pants ran onto the field toward Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford. The man, clad in a shirt, undershirt and sports socks, ran onto the field from the third-base stands in the bottom of the second inning and made his way toward Crawford. The pants-less man then was escorted off the field through a door in the left-field corner, after he was paraded past all the fans on the third-base side of the stadium.

A 61-year-old man was fighting for his life after getting run over by a truck that was backing up to a loading dock Wednesday evening near San Francisco International Airport, officials said. The driver, a 44-year-old man whose name was not released, was backing a truck up to a loading dock when he ran over the man, who was walking by, police said. Emergency responders transported the man, who had life-threatening injuries, to the hospital, police said.
