Raiders tight end Clive Walford will miss spring practices following a knee injury suffered in an ATV accident, league sources confirmed. The injury occured earlier this offseason — it’s unclear exactly when — and Walford is weeks removed from his surgery and doing a lot better, according to Fox Sports. PAWLING, N.Y. (AP) — Musician Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates has dropped plans to host outdoor concerts at his music venue and restaurant in upstate New York. Hall's business, Daryl's House, had announced in February that it planned to build an outdoor stage on its lawn that could accommodate 1,000 concertgoers.

STILWELL, Okla. (AP) — Authorities say one man is dead and another is in custody following a shooting in eastern Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says 24-year-old Bluebird Linville died at a hospital where he was taken after being shot in Stilwell on Monday. The OSBI says Stilwell police asked the agency for assistance and that a suspect has been arrested. The agency says the 22-year-old suspect is being held in the Adair County jail pending the filing of formal charges.

DETROIT (AP) — America's love of trucks and SUVs helped push most automakers to healthy sales gains last month as Honda and Nissan reported best-ever April sales. Honda led major automakers with a 14.4 percent sales increase as both its cars and SUVs sold well, while Nissan's sales rose 12.8 percent. Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin said in a news release that 33-year-old Kenneth G. Sprayberry, of Hokes Bluff, vandalized a home in the Ballplay community on Friday evening.

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — The mother and grandmother of a teen who died from a heroin overdose at an Ohio hotel were indicted Tuesday on involuntary manslaughter charges. The mother's friend, 34-year-old Jessica Irons, of Stow, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, reckless homicide, tampering with evidence, heroin possession and contributing to the unruliness of a child.

(AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found lying near a wooded trail in Grundy County as a homicide. While the official cause of Chandler's death has not yet been determined, based on the preliminary autopsy report, TBI agents say they're investigating Chandler's death as a homicide.
