WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) — The oldest and biggest film festival in Maine will take place in mid-July in Waterville this year.
Organizers say the Maine International Film Festival will run from July 13 to 22. The festival is in its 21st year and will be held in the Waterville Opera House and Railroad Square Cinema.
The festival is also hosting the 41st annual Maine Student Film and Video Festival, which is a student filmmaking showcase. Programming director Ken Eisen says this year's festival will include a number of surprises and special guest appearances.
