Traveling inflatable art exhibit floats into Michigan museum (AP) — A life-size inflatable Trans Am, 14-foot-tall pink bunnies and a 25-foot-long reclining Buddha-inspired figure are on display as part of an art exhibition in western Michigan. The traveling exhibition was organized by Curator Carrie Lederer from the Bedford Gallery of the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, California.

According to studio estimates Sunday, Kong: Jeff Goldstein, Warner Bros.' head of domestic distribution, said the weekend "far exceeded everyone's expectations," and he predicts Monday actuals might come in higher than the estimated $61 million. BERLIN (AP) — A union representing airport ground staff has called on its members to go on strike again at Berlin's two airports and is warning the walkouts might lead to delays and flight cancelations.

When the Vermont Health Department started tracking the disease in 1990, they found only 14 cases in the state, according to Bradley Tompkins, an infectious disease specialist. The latest data from a multiyear study of the ocean predators found that the number of sharks in waters off the vacation haven appears to be on the rise, said Greg Skomal, a senior scientist with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, and the state's top shark expert. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau recently issued a warning to consumers to pay close attention to their personal information on record with student loan servicers as errors are popping up that can cost borrowers hundreds of dollars more in additional student loan debt. (AP) — The U.S. Forest Service says two cliffs in the Green Mountain National Forest are going to be closed to hikers to protect the nesting sites of peregrine falcons. The once-endangered peregrine falcons raise their young on cliffs, and the species was restored in Vermont with help from wildlife agencies and private groups.
