Wouldn't it be nice if all this doom and gloom about climate change was just a mistake made by panicky, elitist scientists? Or, heck, it'd even be great if it was just a hoax, even a lie ... anything but real. That seems to be the tack taken by the Trump administration in clinging to climate change deniers.

HOUSTON (AP) — Saudi Arabia's energy minister says OPEC production cuts are working to bolster crude prices and his country will look at whether other oil-producing nations are living up to their promises to curtail pumping before deciding whether to extend the cutbacks beyond this summer. WASHINGTON (AP) — Chinese cellphone equipment maker ZTE Corp. will plead guilty and pay the United States nearly $900 million for shipping sensitive U.S.-made technology to Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions, the Justice Department said Tuesday. WASHINGTON (AP) — Consumers pulled back on credit card debt in January, leading to the smallest increase in consumer borrowing in more than four years. The slowdown reflected a big reduction in the category that covers credit card debt, which fell $3.8 billion in January.

CHICAGO (AP) — Fewer overweight Americans have been trying to lose weight in recent years, and researchers wonder if fat acceptance could be among the reasons. Another reason could be people abandoning efforts to drop pounds after repeated failed attempts, Zhang said. The surveys involved in-person physical exams and health-related questions including asking participants if they'd tried to lose weight within the past year. NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stock indexes are lower Tuesday as Drugmakers fall after President Donald Trump said he wants to bring drug prices down. The market is headed for its third loss in the last four trading days after setting all-time highs as recently as last Wednesday. Health care companies fell after House Republicans introduced legislation to replace the 2010 Affordable Care Act.
