When you consider that the likes of Burgess and SBW play centre in Union and they are/were very useful forwards in League, that tells you all that you need to know.

Looked great to see the famous kit at the old wembley!
Blown away in the first 20 minutes, but some shocking defence meant we were never going to win.

Yes Rogues I always thought Jones may have Wigan connections due to Leyland/Chorley, but I remember reading somewhere on this forum that apparently he doesn’t like the Wigan club and would never play for them.
It may have just been rumour and forum talk but it’s stuck with me.

That said, I’m a massive fan of his and would love him to play for us.

I don't think the owner of Newcastle Thunder is going to be as wealthy as he was pre-Covid19 as he now has a promoted Newcastle Falcons union side,and a stadium currently not used,to finance as well as Thunder.

That particular club will have to pay incremental increases to sustain their Challenge for Super League,which they aim to win in 2030.

Strangely there is no mention of their instant promotion for this 2022 campaign.

The idea is to work through the alphabet with the first letter of each song title ...

The first player posts the name of a song beginning with the letter A (plus the artist)

The next player posts the name of a song beginning with the letter B (plus the artist) ... and so it rolls on ... after Z it's back to A.

It seems a lot of us are Parra fans because of the colours, me too. However when i was in Sydney, Paramata was a long train ride away so I tended to go to the Manly home games as a day out at Manly beach was always a pleasure and they had Cliff Lyons playiong for them too. When Manly were away I used to go to whatever took my fancy and managed to get to many of the grounds, some of which don't even exist any more, in fact some of the clubs don't exist either. You have to work out who the player is from the clues and submit your guess. There may be more than one correct answer, but you have to get the one that we have sealed in a virtual envelope.
