Nothing stopping the Cats players going back to France between matches over here as long as the borders are open. Just play their home matches at whatever SL ground is closest to the most convenient airport.

I personally think the championship and league 1 should pull away from the rfl and superleague and seek there own way forward, I also think that there is a better brand of rugby been played in the lower leagues too, too much money in superleague, it’s become a safety game, no one wants to lose and everyone fears losing there place in the team and having to go back to work like normal folk, ie your fans who pay good money to watch proper rugby, long gone have them days, I think the first 10years or so of superleague was a seller... I’m conflicted on this too. I don’t want any team to go bust over this terrible time.

Although as has been said those that pushed for the split from the RFL and advocated giving nothing to the lower leagues, now want their cake and to eat it too. Any money they secured would have been for them, they said as much but now they want to come back to make sure they get some of the bailout secured by the RFL.

I paid for mine in advance at early bird price & have watched all but one home game so far, but i don't really expect to get any credit or cash back for what may well be a short season. I will not be too pleased though if i am then expected to pay extra for "behind closed doors" games because i haven't already got sports channels.

The suggestion is that football games are played at neutral grounds. The intention being that fans will not travel. However if fans do and I think that is is very likely that they will. The season will be cancelled.

I see Rimmer has confirmed that Catalans,Toronto and Toulouse Olympique are not entitled to any of the £16 million that the government has made available.If you are going to invite foreign teams to compete in your competition,then surely you have to make the rescue money available to all teams irrelevant of where they come from
